In the past few weeks, Nigerians across the country protested against the activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit of the Nigeria Police Force.
According to the protesters, the police unit engages in illegal detention and killings of innocent Nigerians.
However, due to the protest, many lives has been lost in the struggle, lost of private and public properties have been burnt and some demolished.
Coca-Cola has has come out to join the movement and also show support for the struggle with providing 20 million naira to cover and support for medical bills for victims in the hospital
In their words through their Twitter handle, they said, “Every human life matters and as a company, our goal is to continue to work with our communities towards the wellbeing of the people. This is why, in partnership with @whitefieldfdnng, we are providing support to the injured and those in critical condition”
