Dachung Musa Bagos empowers Women in his constituency

Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, member representing Jos South/Jos East constituency has empowered Women in his Constituency.

This was released in a statement released by Danja Dafwam Yakubu, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to on the 6th December, 2020
Danja also revealed that the House member has provided skills necessary to help this women become independent in order to contribute to the growth of their various homes and the society at large.

It was also revealed that this is a joint collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, ICE TARGET GLOBAL CONCEPT and office of the Honourable member, the program saw participants being drawn from Jos East and Jos South LGAs of Plateau State respectively.
In the statement, it reads:

“The Member Representing Jos South/Jos East in the National Assembly, Rep Dachung Musa Bagos has empowered women within his constituency with life changing skills aquisition program.

Organized in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, ICE TARGET GLOBAL CONCEPT and office of the Honourable member, the program saw participants being drawn from Jos East and Jos South LGAs of Plateau State respectively.

The participants were trained on various skills which includes but not limited to; soap making, financial literacy application, marketing and networking modules.

Declaring the occasion open, former Commissioner of finance, Plateau state and currently, zonal PDP Chairman, Northern zone, Hon. Davou Mang, while thanking the member for such gesture reiterated the need for the participants to see this as not just an empowerment scheme but a means to aquiring a life sustainable skills program.

Contributing to the event, the Representative of the Plateau State Coordinator, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mrs. Gloria Bako thanked Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos for empowering women within his Constituency. She urged other members and legislators to partner with the ministry in order to grow the socio- economic development of the nation.

The member who was visibly happy, elated and grateful to the participants for turning up said “the next generation of leaders are his priority; hence the need to provide stable skill aquisition for women to help take care of these sets of leaders”.

Represented by the Senior Legislative Aide to the member, Dachung Musa Bagos, Hon. Pwajok Langs said the program was aimed at changing the fortunes of the constituents by providing them with livelihood programs to enhance their capacities for improved productivity and employment opportunities.

Highlights of the event was the presentation of certificates and start- -up-grants to the participants.”
